Formed by three former members of Vue, Bellavista departs a bit from Vue's trademark bluesy garage sound, leaning toward more of a shoegazer-pop sound (such as Jesus and Mary Chain).The guitars are heavily layered and hazy, and evoke comparisons to countless influences ranging from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club to Sonic Youth and Brian Jonestown Massacre.
